Machine learning approaches for mental health prediction: A comparative study

Abstract

Abstract : Mental health is an important and complex issue that impacts thousands and thousands of human beings around the world. The integration of machine learning has proven promise in the prediction and prevention of mental illness. In this thesis, we explore the intersection of mental health and machine learning, focusing on how these advanced technology solutions can help predict and diagnose psychiatry through various machine learning algorithms. Our goal is to use this research to compare and take a closer look at the effectiveness of various established algorithms and increase our understanding of the strengths and limitations of existing machine-learning approaches.***

Résumé : La santé mentale est une question importante et complexe qui touche des milliers et des milliers d’êtres humains dans le monde. L’intégration de l’apprentissage automatique s’est avérée prometteuse pour la prédiction et la prévention des maladies mentales. Cette thèse explore l’intersection de la santé mentale et de l’apprentissage automatique, en se concentrant sur la façon dont ces solutions technologiques avancées peuvent aider à prédire et à diagnostiquer la psychiatrie grâce à divers algorithmes d’apprentissage automatique. Notre objectif est d’utiliser cette recherche pour comparer et examiner de plus près l’efficacité de divers algorithmes établis et d’améliorer notre connaissance des forces et des limites des approches d’apprentissage automatique existantes.
