As 5G networks continue to expand, delivering fast and reliable connectivity through ultra-dense deployments while maintaining optimal coverage and capacity has become a critical challenge. Traditional manual network management struggles to keep up with the complexity and scale of modern 5G infrastructure. Faced with these challenges, Self-Organizing Networks (SON) powered by artificial intelligence are called upon as a promising solution. The aim of this work is to design and implement a Machine Learning-driven SON framework for 5G coverage and capacity optimization, leveraging Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), and active reward learning: in order to autonomously address root causes of poor network performance such as coverage holes, signal overshooting, and undershooting, while minimizing human intervention and operational costs.*** Avec l’expansion continue des réseaux 5G, assurer une connectivité rapide et fiable à travers des déploiements ultra-denses tout en maintenant une couverture et une capacité optimales est devenu un défi majeur.
