Réalisation d’un système de Business Intelligence pour la Société Algérienne de Production D’Électricité (SPE)

Abstract

SONELGAZ est l'op erateur historique dans le domaine de la fourniture des energies electriques et gazi eres en Alg erie. Elle a toujours jou e un r^ole majeur dans le d eveloppement social et economique du pays. Sa contribution dans la concr etisation de la politique energ etique nationale est a la mesure des importants programmes r ealis es. En vue de soutenir le processus de prise de d ecision au sein de la Soci et e Alg erienne de Production d' electricit e (SPE), SONELGAZ a initi e a travers sa liale IT ELIT un projet dans le cadre du Business Intelligence a n de r ealiser un syst eme d'information d ecisionnel qui permet le reporting du m ecanisme de production. Dans ce contexte, ELIT s'est charg e de d evelopper un syst eme d'information de reporting et d'aide a la d ecision autour d'un Data Warehouse. Ce syst eme o re une vision synth etis ee sur les performances de l'entreprise et les informations statistiques de production, consommation et la qualit e de service. Ce projet a pour nalit e de cr eer un nouveau produit Business Intelligence qui r epond aux besoins des d ecideurs au niveau de la soci et e SPE. Il vise aussi l'am elioration de la qualit e et la transparence des donn ees analytiques, en ajoutant de la valeur concr ete et cruciale a la prise de d ecision.***

SONELGAZ is the historical operator in the electric and gas energies supply in Algeria. It has always played a major role in the social and economic development of the country. Its contribution to the implementation of the national energy policy is ensured with the major programs carried out. In order to support the decision making process within the Algerian Electricity Production Company(SPE), a Business Intelligence software was needed. Such a software will be responsable for the reporting of the production module. Thus, SONELGAZ initiated through its IT subsidiary ELIT, a Business Intelligence project to these ends. Under this scope, ELIT took the mission of developing a Business Intelligence software system around a Data Warehouse. This system o ers a summary of the company's performance and statistical production, consumption and quality of service informations. This project aims to create a new Business Itelligence software to decision maker's needs at the SPE company. It also targets the improvement of the quality and the transparency of analytical data by adding concrete and crucial value to the decision making.
