dc.description.abstractn today's data-driven world, companies face an information overload, and companies that want to work smarter are investing in ways to control and benefits the most from it. The era of big data is upon us. In fact, we are producing so much data that 90% of the data has been collected in the last 5 years. Business Intelligence helps companies keep up with trends, adapt to different market conditions and improve decision-making at the different levels of the company. BI software generally performs well even if the benefits are not immediately visible. In this research paper we will discuss the theoretical background of business intelligence, OLAP, multidimensional modeling and data warehouses. After that we will dive deep into the trending features and their implementations by the leading solutions in the BI market. For the state of art, we will go through the most recent researches in the BI and data analytics features. The last chapter will be a case study of implementing a data warehouse and analyzing the data extracted from the manufacturing system of the company of ALFAPIPE located in Ghardaïa.en_US
