| dc.description.abstract | In Algeria, the ordering of personalized cakes remains largely informal, relying on WhatsApp
messages, phone calls, and reference photos. This process leads to frequent miscommunication,
order errors, a lack of price transparency, and an absence of visual confirmation,
resulting in dissatisfaction for both clients and pastry artisans.
This thesis introduces LaraCake, an innovative digital platform that connects clients
with local pastry artisans for the design and ordering of fully customized cakes. The
solution is built around two complementary technological pillars: a real-time 3D cake
configurator, in which all 3D cake models were designed using Blender and integrated
into a React Native (Expo) mobile application, enabling clients to visualize their cake
before ordering; and an AI-powered conversational assistant that generates a visual
preview of the cake from a natural language description.
LaraCake connects clients to partner bakeries and provides artisans with an order
management dashboard. For payment, the platform offers two flexible options: cash on
pickup, and online payment via bank transfer or mobile payment (CIB/EDAHABIA)
where the client uploads a payment receipt for the baker to verify. The backend is built
with Laravel and MySQL, and the web dashboard is developed with Laravel Livewire.
This project demonstrates how modern 3D visualization and artificial intelligence
can transform a traditionally informal market into a reliable, transparent, and engaging
digital purchasing experience.***
description en langage naturel.
| en_US |
