Etude Comparative Entre l’architecture Monolithique Et l’architecture Microservice

Abstract

L’architecture des microservices attire l’attention dans la communaut´e universitaire et l’industrie, et fait l’objet de plein de d´ebats, et surtout par rapport `a l’architecture monolithique. Des opposants de l’architecture microservice affirment que l’id´ee n’est qu’un changement de marque de SOA. Donc l’objectif de ce m´emoire est de r´ealiser une ´etude comparative entre l’architecture microservice et l’architecture monolithique. Au final, nous avons constat´e que l’architecture microservice montre de meilleure performances lorsque l’application utilise plus de 100 utilisateurs ou qu’elle est complexe. Par contre l’architecture monolithique est efficace pendant moins de charges et elle est facile `a d´evelopper.

Microservice architecture is attracting attention in the academic community and industry, and is the subject of much debate, and especially is compared to monolithic architecture. Opponents of the microservice architecture claim the idea is just a rebranding of SOA. So the objective of this research is to carry out a comparative study between the microservice architecture and the monolithic architecture. In the end, we found that the microservice architecture showed better performance when the application uses more than 100 users or is complex. On the other hand, the monolithic architecture is efficient for less load and it is easy to develop.
