Conception et réalisation d’un système d’annotation sémantique du patrimoine culturel

Abstract

Abstract : My final-year project, conducted at the LIAS (Laboratory of Computer Science and Automation for Systems) affiliated with the National School of Mechanics and Aeronautics in Poitiers, involved a complete overhaul of an existing desktop application for semantic annotation of heritage objects. The aim was to address the limitations of the client-heavy solution and propose a more comprehensive design for semantic annotation, including representation models and meta-annotations. Before delving into the details of the proposed solution, which is a web-based semantic annotation application, we will review the foundational concepts related to annotation and the semantic web. Additionally, we will provide an introduction to existing representation models.***

Résumer Le présent rapport de stage porte sur mon projet de fin d’études réalisé au sein du laboratoire LIAS (Laboratoire d’Informatique et d’Automatique pour les Systèmes), rattaché à l’École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aérotechnique de Poitiers. L’objectif principal de ce projet était de procéder à une refonte complète d’une application de bureau existante, utilisée pour l’annotation sémantique des objets du patrimoine. Cette refonte visait à résoudre les problèmes liés à l’utilisation d’une solution client lourd et à proposer une conception plus générale en ce qui concerne l’aspect de l’annotation sémantique, notamment les modèles de représentation et les méta-annotations. Avant d’aborder en détail la solution proposée, qui consiste en une application web d’annotation sémantique, nous passerons en revue les bases et les concepts liés à l’annotation et au web sémantique. Nous fournirons également une introduction aux modèles de représentation existants.
